The platinum recording artist and Emmy Award-winning actress will anchor the pre-show on Sunday, August 28, starting at 8 p.m.reporting on breaking news and interviewing her peers alongside MTV's team of correspondents, including Sway Calloway, Jim Cantiello and James Montgomery.
